Dr Geeta Rajan started her practice in Neurology in 1997. She completed her residency training and Fellowship in Clinical
neurophysiology at the prestigious Hennipin County Medical Center and the University of Minnesota (1997). She practiced a
year in Minnesota and moved to the Dallas Fort Worth area in 1998. She spent her initial years in large group practice
settings. Though successful, she felt bogged down in the corporate environment. In her own words, "I felt restricted in the
individual attention I could give to a patient and had very little control over the behavior of my staff." She took a bold step and
set up Plano Neurology in 2004.
Today she says, "This practice is a dream come true. To me, medicine is not just a profession, but my calling. It took a lot of
hard work and extensive family support to start up, but it was well worth it. Our motto is 'compassionate care at its very best,'
and we strive to keep this up."
Dr Rajan is board-certified in General Neurology and fellowship trained in Clinical Neurophysiology with expertise in Epilepsy,
